Oprah's favorites?

Did anyone watch Oprah's favorite things show? I looked at the list on her
website and didn't think it looked too inspiring.

I saw the entire show. It would be inspiring if someone would give me
all of those gifts, but there was nothing unique or unusual. I would
love to have the Burberry jacket, Sony Vaio, a Blackberry etc. I
planned to order the Garrett's popcorn, which she featured a few years
ago, and if it was like that time they were swamped with orders. I am
not a fan of philosophy products so those didn't interest me at all. I
had hoped there would be more unique items.

i purposely didn't watch it..............i HATE all the screaming.
this morning i went to her site and wasn't impressed with the list.
i DID however like the fact that the audience was comprised of
volunteers who worked with the hurricane katrina victims!

I too have to say that having spent seven years in England I'm totally
confused by American television (having said that I don't watch very
much English telly either..). I can't stand the screaming on Oprah
either but the one that I'm totally confused by is Dr. Phil–––what is
all THAT about? Why does this man get to be the moral compass of
things? Totally weird...
I like the philosophy products and would be very happy with the Amazing
Grace basket. The popcorn also looks to die for–– they just don't do
things like that over here....
