What are *you* wearing today?

75 degrees I'm posting early for Thursday evening. Not only did my
husband receive a holiday gift basket this week filled with too many
temptations, but we are going to a holiday black and white gala this
evening. This brings the holiday season to a new early start. The
dress is black tie optional. I will be wearing
white Dana Buchman sheer v neck top with lace around the neckline and
scattered sparkly sequins on the bodice. I have a camisole to wear
under it since I don't do sheer.
Alex Evening two tier black skirt with slits on both sides. It is long
and slightly a line. It is ancient.
Alex Evening new sparkly black jacket so I won't freeze. I'll wear it
open to show off the white top. It has a mandarin style collar and no
other ornamentation.
gold earrings with three sets of pearls dangling from the base, pearl
bracelet
SW pumps black peau de soi pointed toes, thin straps around the ankle
and back of the heel and rectangular rhinestone clasps at the sides (If
these seem too uncomfortable I have a fallback pair with a shorter heel)
white beaded clutch my father gave me in 1960
