mortar and pestle for aspirin mask

Here is a fairly inexpensive one that should work fine for crushing
aspirins:

There's really no need to crush the aspirins––you simply dribble a
couple of drops of hot water on them. You can do this in the palm of
your hand; the aspirins immediately begin to dissolve and can then be
applied directly to the face, mixed with a mask, or used in whatever
mask–type form you prefer.

I just put the aspirins in my palm and squirt some generic fake Cetaphil
on them, and they are soft and mushy within a couple of minutes.

Does that work for the coated aspirin as well? Someone [I can't remember
who, and I'm too lazy to google it.:)] had asked about using coated
aspirin and just crushing them to remove the coating first.

I use "lite coat" aspirin and a few drops of warm water dissolves 'em
just fine.

I believe the mask is best prepared with uncoated aspirins.
I had a hard time finding uncoated aspirins...but they turned out to be
the cheapest ones in the market––if memory serves I believe I found
them in KMart.

It suprises me that this is so hard to find since we've never used
anything other than uncoated aspirin. I have always been able to find
it at drug or grocery stores.
