What are *you* wearing today?

67 degrees It is really pretty outside with the trees changing colors
and the lawns a bright green. I did some errands this morning and have a
meeting at noon.

Bally Vanessa loafers, woven leather across the top of the foot, thin
gold metal on the top with Bally on it. I have too many shoes. I
thought the box contained old flats with bows. I think I may have
missed these last year.

I was wearing the Andrew Marc black leather jacket for the errands but
it is warm enough now to leave it at home.

HAPPY 35TH BIRTHDAY TO OPEC: Woke up about 4:30, coughed a while,
tossed the trash, back to sleep until about 8:45. Answered an E–mail
from my manager about what he needed to put in timekeeping and then I
talked to the LOA people at work. My cell has been displaying text
messages all day: my co–workers are sending me get–well text
messsages, as I told them "less disruption than the phone ringing
cause I probably won't pick it up if I'm napping or driving." Then, I
showered and got out and ran some errands (delivered LOA paperwork,
mailed letters, and went by the stockbroker to make some account setup
changes.... I trade on–line but I go by with paperwork to have them
make sure it's done right). After that, it was lunchtime, tortilla
soup and beef fajitas with queso. Called the Farm: I reported what my
brother Bruce was up to (he E–mailed and asked how I was doing from
work) and Mom commented it was her five–year–anniversary visit with
her breast cancer doctor (mastectomy followed by five years of
tamoxifen, the best treatment usually for 70+yo patients) later
today... so they'll probably have a milestone to celebrate there! For
the day:
