Two possibilities:
#1 Mr. Right?
#2 Never made the transition from AOL when they decided that USENET
on AOL should stand for "Amerika OffLine." <grin/duck>
One Webmaster (not me) wrote in response to AOLcompatibility
complaints: "AOL is not the Internet, does not contain the Internet,
does not own the Internet and did not invent the Internet or any of
its components."
My site is so vanilla (by design) that it even runs on WebTV and smart
cellphones that have enough memory. The trickiest thing is dynamic
fonts for pages dealing with adidas, Converse, and Reebok. Try it with
a recent version of MSIE. And if people doubt it runs on a cellphone,
I'll whip out the cell and load a few small pages.
Given the latest news about AOL: Bill Gates won't buy it and Ed
Whitacre won't buy it. And if Gates and Whitacre don't think they can
fix it, it's a lost cause. Maybe Dick Notebaert will go where
technology's angels fear to tread. <grin/duck>
