Discontinued: Clinique unscented quick hair detangle

"SAJ" <susan_a_john...@hotmail.com>
Clinique has discontinued its unscented quick hair detangle for hair (a
post–shampoo hair conditioner).
I emailed their customer service and they confirmed that the product
was discontinued. I had asked if they were going to bring out an
alternative unscented product, and their response was that the decision
to discontinue a product was based on marketing conditions. They did
offer to let me initiate a search for whatever stocks of the product
are left, but that's just delaying the inevitable when the stocks run
out.
All Clinique offers now is Clinique Happy conditioner. It is scented
with Clinique Happy fragrance. I tried it but I can't tolerate the
scent.
I had always looked to Clinique for unscented products, and I am very
disappointed that they have discontinued their unscented hair
conditioner and left the customers no choice if they wanted an
unscented product. Surely they must realize there is a considerable
market of people who use unscented product lines.
I am going to try the unscented hair conditioner offered by Free &
Clear.

I'm pretty sure you'll be able to find fragrance–free hair care
products at places like Whole Body or any good health food store.

consider Redken's Outshine. it's not marketed as a detangler,
but it works great for that. it's marketed as an "anti–frizz
shine milk." it does have a scent to it, but it's not
unpleasant, IMO. also, it contains shea butter which will make
your hair very soft.

I don't know about where you are, but up here many workplaces are requesting
personnel to use unscented products due to the high amount of allergic people
now. Rather odd why Clinique would discontinue something like this when I
think it's a growing trend for many...
