Source for uncoated aspirin for the mask?

"petunia" <petunia...@gmail.com>
I'm almost out of the aspirin I use for the aspirin mask – I used to be
able to get uncoated aspirin at K–Mart, but the store near me closed.
Anybody have suggestions of where I can get uncoated aspirin?
If not, how does the "lightly coated" aspirin do? Does it add an
undesirable goo to the mix?
THANKS!

Are you near a Walgreens? They have uncoated aspirin. Generic house
brands are usually uncoated. If you can't find it, please e mail me.
By the way the SF Chronicle ran an article on the best masks in the
Sunday Style section last week and the aspiring mask was listed as one
of the best.

I don't know exactly where to find a mortar and pestle (scientific
supply store? eclectic decor store? Froogle? Yahoo?), but a few whacks
will uncoat anything short of Ecotrin and its clones.

I bought one a few years ago at Williams & Sonoma.

I bet you can find them at Cost Plus or Pier One.

*Any* kitchen supply store should carry them. I bought mine at TJ Maxx.
