ps. it REALLY works!

I bought a bottle a couple of weeks ago after reading a rave on another
site. I've used it about 6 times now, and I really love it.
It really locks down my eye makeup / mascara! I still have a shiny nose
by the end of the day, but not having my eyes disappear in the middle
of the day is great!
It's even improved the wear of a mascara I'd pushed to the back of the
drawer because it flaked off in the afternoon. No flakes!

I don't see a list of ingredients on the website. What's in it that
allows it to "set" makeup? Is it really Aquanet Lite, i.e. a milder
version of hair spray for the face? Eek. Scary. And how is this
different from spraying with Evian? And why not use waterproof mascara
and e/s with some staying power, i.e. MAC paints, cream shadows? And
what's the point if your face gets oily/shiny anyway?
Just wondering...and playing devil's advocate.

I'm really interested in whether it will keep my concealer in place. My
skin is generally pretty even but I always seem to have a blemish that
needs covering up...I put on the concealer and I think I look great,
then by about noon, the concelaer is all gone and I have an ugly red
spot exposed.
Sounds like this is the stuff for me.

she is an esthetician. she has tested everything on herself as well as
models. the only thing I can say for sure that's iffy are the
parabens.. and that's if you use it daily ––which I don't but I do
find that it works exceptionally well. My makeup ––everything–– stays
put. Don't use this on mucous membranes like lips.

thank you very much. that's very kind.
FYI, I didn't choose the name of the blog. It was named by the EIC for the
fashiontribes.com website. Initially it was just beauty: then one day I
noticed the name change.

While this Model in a Bottle might be the thing to solve your concealer
problem, I'd suggest other alternatives. What kind of foundation are
you using (if any)? What kind of concealer? If it's a creamy–ish
concealer, are you making sure to set it with loose powder? If you use
foundation, are you applying concealer first or foundation first? What
are you using to apply the concealer? (Sometimes their applicators are
useless and you need to use your own tool.)
There's a whole world of concealers––and application techniques––out
there that might solve your problem easily.

and then there are all the acne treatments. i prefer Pantothenic
Acid, 1500 mg daily.
