Look Good Feel Better goodie bag

"MaureyL" <Maur...@aol.com>
Went to one of these makeup seminars yesterday at the Haven, a breast
cancer charity. Thought you might enjoy finding out what was in the
goodie bags! (Worth around =A3200 or a bit more...)
Clarins cleanser for dry skin (the pale green one with alpine herbs)
Clarins toner for dry/sensitive skin (yellow toner, no alcohol)
Estee Lauder Lucidity foundation
Collection 2000 concealer (UK brand, a lot like Erase)
Boots No. 7 loose powder, eye trio (soft, natural neutrals... oatmeal,
pale grey and a shimmer bronze) and rosy control primer (this is pea
green.. a horrible choice for anyone, especially cancer patients!)
Clinique brow shaper powder (great product and wonderful for drawing on
soft brows)
Lancome eye pencil in brun and brow pencil in blonde
YSL lip pencil (rosy shade, a bit too pink for me)
Two lipsticks, one from Clarins and one from Avon (unremarkable
neutrals)
For me, the real revelation was the brow makeup.. it's very soft and I
can easily feather in "hairs" over top of it. The Lucidity foundation
is also quite nice but for my poor dry skin it's a bit "flat" and matte
now––I need something with a bit more radiance and lift to it. It does
blend it quite easily and covers really well without looking caked
on––Estee Lauder does make very good foundations, I'm reminded. The
Clarins cleanser is also quite nice, even though it reminds me of a
cold cream almost.
To summarise, if you have cancer treatment, go to one of these! I
didn't pay much attention to the instruction itself (very basic) but
the products were excellent.
