"greytulip" <arsalanusm...@yahoo.com>
Hello
I'm a student in the fashion department, Academy of
Art University, CA and as with
most of the Grad students, i dont have any money to
conduct focus groups. Therefore, i need your help.
Please Click on the link below to be directed to my
small survey.
http://surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=445331467381
Please also forward it to your friends, if you can..It
is all very private and secure. You wont be asked for
any type of personal information. your help and time
would really be appreciated.
Thank you very much and have a nice day.

the last question on the survey is WAY too limited and there is no
space for why. there was not one single brand listed that I would spend
my money on.. not one..
( i would consider gstar.. but none of the others)

Question 7 is a bit odd or limited as you say because it doesn't even
consider that maybe some buyers are happy with what they have already and
don't need/want to see anything change. Surprisingly, that happens even in
today's world :–)

My favorite was the one about changes people want in the jeans market.
It showed a very limited understanding of the jeans market in the real
world.

Trolling for respondents on a newsgroup shows a very limited understanding
of how survey research is conducted.
(Lesson 1 –– draw a sample that's statistically representative of the
larger group you are interested in. Voluntary repliers very rarely are.)
