Question about Diesel Boots

Hi everybody,
I've been shopping for a new pair of boots – it will get cold here in
Canada this winter! – and I couldn't find many things that I really
like. Most of men's boots are quite boring.
The only thing I've seen that seems interesting is a pair of Diesel
boots, but the salesman told me it was made for... women. Here is a picture:

Do you think that this stuff looks too girly for a guy? Most Diesel
shoes are usually unisex models.
