Favorite Red Grapefruit Scents?

stephanie <stepha...@keybeaute.com>
Yesterday the news was full of reports about the scent of red grapefruit
on a woman triggering men to think those women are 5–6 years younger
than they actually are (the reverse was not true however). What are your
fav red grapefruit fragrances? soap? candles? and were do you buy them?
TIA. And sorry if this is a duplicate post. Having issues with my news
server.

Not sure if these count, but I was loving Glow's Grapefruit oil last summer
(and I swear, it kept the mosquitoes away from me!) and I still love
Shikai's Yuzu lotion this time of year. Isn't Yuzu a type of grapefruit?
It's funny you should post this, because I was *just* googling "grapefruit
scents" and came across your post–––I was looking for info on CSP's Pomelo
fragrance.

CSP's O'Pomelo is a grapefruit scent; it was recently on sale from
adorebeauty.com and I ordered it "smell unseen." I like it when I
first spray it on but it lasts about a nanosecond, at least on me.
Disappointed.
Any suggestions for a complementary body lotion that would make this
fragrance last longer?

I don't, but I will say that grapefruit is one of the most
evanescent of all scents. It just has no staying power. I really like
Guerlain's Pamplelune, but despite their wizardry, they can't chain it
to the skin; it's gone in a matter of minutes, leaving just the base
notes. (Lagerfeld's Photo uses a quantity of grapefruit in the top note
specifically because it doesn't last: it's meant to give an
instantaneous brilliant effect like the flash of a camera and then
vanish.)

Not grapefruit but if you have the opportunity sniff Red Flower's
Italian blood orange.

In response to my own post: this evening I made the acquaintance of Jo
Malone's Grapefruit body cream, which smells wonderful and seems to
have tremendous staying power, at least on my hands. However, it's
outrageously expensive––$75 for a tub that's somewhat smaller than,
say, the TBS body butter tubs. That's a helluva lot of shekels for
body cream.
A friend recommended trying Kiehl's grapefruit body lotion layered with
the body oil. Anybody tried Kiehl's grapefruit scented products?

Ecco Bella makes a grapefruit body lotion. There used to be a
grapefruit–lavender lotion, but I can't find that online now.
