Mmmm...those sound so nice. I really love my dangling teardrop
turquoise earrings. They're sterling silver. (Mine are kinda' long,
but not so huge that they look like something gaudy that Mrs. Roeper
would wear on Three's Company. LOL...) I've had them for years and
they've never fallen apart or anything. What type of metal are your
daughter's or are they somehow beaded or something instead? I think
turquoise looks really good with sterling, especially in the Summer.
So does Onyx.

The metal is thin gold and unfortunately I don't know the designer but
can find out if I return to the store. It suprised me that it wasn't
silver. The store is a local boutique and the owner has an eye for
great accessories.http://www.ambiancesf.com/index.cfm This is the San
Francisco store. Ours is no longer affiliated with it but has many of
the same items. Her earrings were no more than $35. She has long,
thick curly hair and she is 5'10" so she can wear a dramatic looking
earring.
