Deep conditoner suggestion needed

"Miss J" <kitten...@gmail.com>
Could someone recommend a deep condition to be used weekly that will
not strip color? I have resisted deep conditioners because of the
stripping problem.
Would I be better off with an hot oil? I am growning out my hair
another three inches. I ends are getting so dry.

I've heard that hot oil strips color, so that may be worse! I think
L'Oreal makes a Colorvive deep conditioning hair mask, that might be
good to try. Or, if you have access to that Feria Pro conditioner, it's
divine and since it's made to use after coloring, shouldn't harm your
color. HTH! :)

From what my hairdresser tells me, you can use something called
'Artech' conditioner to deep condition color–treated hair. It comes in
a shampoo, too. It deposits color into hair and comes in all hair
colors. Leaving the conditioner on with a conditioning cap or saran
wrap around it should do the trick.
Also, I use Kerastase's Masquintense but that doesn't seem to do
anything for the color but wash it out.

I like the Tigi Dumb Blonde (for all shades, actually, not just Blonde)
Reconstructor and the Tigi Bead Head Treat Me Right Peppermint Therapy Hair
Mask. I'd ask about the peppermint if you have colored hair, though. If they
say it's safe, go for it. (It comes in a groovy little blue tupperware
shaped container.)
It's super soothing, makes your hair shiny and eliminates dryness quite
well. I haven't purchased any in a long time, but Redken All Soft Heavy
Cream Super Treatment is *very* luxurious and nice, too, and so are KMS
Moisture Replace Reconstructor (if it's still around) and Joico K–Pak Deep
Penetrating Reconstructor. It's going to sound strange, but because of the
ingredients in it, trust me, it conditions VERY WELL...Aveda Sap Moss
Shampoo is to die for and eliminates any dryness and frizzies you might get
from coloring/ironing/processing your hair. Quite expensive, but the stuff
is amazing as far as I'm concerned and it's oh so gentle.
**Also, just an FYI–––When I've colored my hair, if I used Bumble and Bumble
Gentle Shampoo, the color tended to last longer.**

I also prefer the Redken All Soft deep conditioner. My hair is two
inches long now, so I don't bother any more. When I did it was
wonderful. It left my hair soft and shiny.
