I checked out my BL for that Pond's moisturizer someone wanted .... no
dice. But, I did note that they have tons of shower gels by Caress and
lots of toothpaste with samples attached.
Kicking myself that I didn't buy some of those Yardley lavender sets
a while back.
At our local Big Lots last weekend they had a bunch of Caress body washes
(Shimmering Petals, Shimmering Pear which is a great Summer scent of theirs,
Nature's Silk, Pearl essence, Water Lily, etc.) and they had some Yardley
London body washes from a "Summer Fruits" line in Berry Jam scent, a citrus
one, and maybe two others, like the Oatmeal Almond (mixes nicely with cherry
bubble bath...mmmm...) and the Lavender, I think.
My friend was going to buy a whole bunch of them that day, but she had just
ordered about seven Avon Naturals (they're all fruit scents, but maybe two
are floral) 5 ounce shower gels, so she passed on it. Those Caress and
Yardleys were really reasonably priced, though. Only about $2 to $3.50,
depending on the ounces in the bottle.
They also had a lot of frames for cheap and many of the smaller ones had no
dents, scratches, etc. and were in perfect condition. I got a small
unblemished Carr's frame to use for a black and white picture from the
studio of my baby cousin that was regularly $12.99 for only $1.99.
I didn't see any Clearasil Total Pore control facial care at my Big Lots
that day, but I saw a few bottles of the Oxy Body wash for about $1.50 a
piece. Did not see Pond's moisturizer, either, but saw the wipey make up
remover cloths for pretty cheap.
I saw a lot of toothpaste in the biggie sizes for like oly $1.50 there, too,
but they didn't have didn't have Crest Whitening plus Scope, Mentadent or
Aqua Fresh Extreme Clean, so I didn't get any. Big Lots had lots of Colgate,
however, which I just recently picked up for only 75 cents (with a free
toothbrush on the package, too) on sale minus a coupon I had from Target.
That was a darn good buy.
JN (LMAO....I'm surprised that my Spell Checker contains the word
Clearasil.....I spelled it "Clearisil" and it corrected me...Heh, heh...)
