Microplane for feet

"ahmward" <nospam.ahmw...@yahoo.com>
I think nothing will make my feet perfect unless I wear comfortable
shoes with socks all year round. The microplane foot file is a good
tool. I've used it just once but the file is like the ones you use for
food except smaller. You can see the rough skin dust fly off your feet
as you file. The file also has two sandpaper like buffing sheets that
attach to the front (you use only one at a time) for quick buffing of
rough spots. Like with any other file you can't expect it to do all of
the work. I really believe you need to lather on the foot cream in heavy
regular doses. I like the small size of the file better than the
Diamacel. www.microplane.com

I'm tempted. I am a huge fan of microplane kitchen products though it's a
little weird to see the foot plane after thinking of the food planes. How
long have you been using it?

Thanks Audrey. Some women search for their holy grail of foundation, I
search for the holy grail of foot files. I will most likely buy this. Thanks

In principle it sounds great, but the $22 price tag seems ridiculous.
I'm tempted to try their small spice grater, I'll bet it does the same
thing for less than half the price:

You can probably use sandpaper instead of the buffing pads.

My Microplane for feet arrived today, and so far so good! As Audrey
suggest, however, adhesive sandpaper of a similar grit/composition
could be used as replacement pads if you really like that feature.
