81 degrees This unusually cool breezy weather has been perfect for the
garden. I picked our second crop of white radishes this morning as well
as the butterstick yellow squash. If anyone has a great Swiss chard
soup recipe please e mail me. The cool weather crops think it's fall.
After a few morning errands I'm meeting my girlfriends for lunch at a
fairly new Chinese restaurant in town. I ate there a few weeks ago and
loved the food. In the afternoon my daughter is taking me for tea at a
tea store in our historical Tower district. My son is cooking dinner
which will include the Zuni Cafe roast chicken and bread salad and a
Spago flourless chocolate cake for dessert. This is a very foodie non
WW day :)

and then we're off to Richmond for the weekend to for the IRL race so
we'll get to see Danica Patrick race on Saturday night. We also have
garage passes and I'm looking forward to seeing those weird cars up
close. We'll also visit King's Dominion (although with the temps
forecast for this weekend, I am guessing we'll be spending all of our
non–track time at the pool or in the water park at the park!). When we
get back we'll be immediately getting ready for a mid–week departure
next week to another track (this time in CT so I'll also get the chance
to see my family!).
