Shopping in Berlin

mazai...@gmail.com
Hi everybody,
I and my wife are going to shop tour in October to Berlin. She is
seeking for clothes like H&M, I will look for toys for our kid.
So we are looking kind of low priced shops/department stores for
clothes.
And is there any Toys'r Us kind of shop in Berlin?
At the moment I have investigated that B5 and KaDeWe is must see places
(for shopping not for sightseeing)
Best regards,
Martins

Yes – see:– http://www.toysrus.de/
See the StoreFinder panel (left hand side) and there are some branches
listed when you press the arrow, including one in Berlin.

I would look for wooden toys for the kiddo. The smaller German toy stores
are great. they have these cute bears that contain bubble fluid. You push
on the belly and the wand pops up ready for bubbles.
I would also google Berlin and alt.fashion. I know several members here,
including myself, have been there and reported back on shopping. I haven't
been in so long, that I've forgotten where the good shopping is. Have fun
and ignore the crappy exchange rate...assuming you are changing $ to Euro.
:)

I can't help with stores, but aren't both Bruder and Playmobil made in
Germany? Fabulous toys.

The toy department at KaDeWe is to die for. You'll have to hit KaDeWe no
matter what –– it's enormous!

Thanks. I found that there are two shops in Berlin (I and II) – can
anybody tell which is bigger?
When I was in Sweden on business trip I noticed that biggest of Toys'R
Us shops had widest range of toys.
I will also look at wooden toys.
It looks like I have forgotten to mention my kids age – he is currently
2 years old and in October he will be 2.5 years old.
