Capezio tights rant and related request

"cycjec"<cyc...@yahoo.com>
Bought a pair of Capezio tights in a local dance
shop. After one day of moderate wear, there were
holes in the heel. This made me think less poorly
of the new hoseless vogue; bare legs may look better
than hose with gaping holes.
Hoseless isn't an option, I may put in several
miles some days (and pants aren't always possible
either) Any suggestions for the most durable items?
Would prefer something not stark white also.
"cofarb" <do...@cofarb.com>
Assuming you were wearing shoes <g>, I'd say you should return the tights.
Are you looking for pantyhose? I usually buy dkny p'hose at Marshall's and
find they hold up pretty well. I hate paying a lot for hose. I recently
bought a bunch of No Nonsense low–rise hose from their website––very
inexpensive––but haven't worn them so can't rant or rave yet.
hth,

maybe I should have tried. but I don't think this was a defective
single item, but inherently poor quality. I've noticed the same thing
in "ordinary" hose; I recall some L'eggs c. 1999 lasting weeks,
but now they often wear out in a few days. I want some tights
similar the old Danskins, but none of the swatches in the stores
were much like that.
Are you looking for pantyhose?
I'm looking for non–dark durable pantyhose or tights. Dark
won't do in the work I will be doing. Much prefer pale, nude
rather than stark white. Rather a lot of walking some of it
outdoors (yes, with shoes)

I think that "inherently poor quality" is a valid reason to return the
tights. Whether it was a single item that was defective or the materials
and design of the project should be irrelevant. I'm assuming that Capezio
tights were not $0.99 "throwaway" hose. Why should you have to pay for
Capezio's failure to provide a quality product?
I still vote for returning them! Better yet, contact Capezio and give them
some valuable feedback.

I haven't worn pantyhose regularly for several years now, but when I did, No
Nonsense seemed to have a good quality to price ratio.
YMMV,
