Cocktails with Earl Spencer

Trilby and I attended a cocktail reception today for the Earl Spencer.
He was in town promoting the "Althrop Collection". He was extremely
articulate and utterly charming (must be a family trait). Our
conversations with him were brief but highlyt enjoyable.
I wore:
Pink Tweed Suit
Cream Silk Shell
Pink Ferragamo Flats
Usual Rings
Gold Earrings

How cool! I love the clothes.
My cleaning lady went to Althrop on a visit. She had sprained her ankle at
the time and was in a wheelchair. Apparently the Earl came over and chatted
with her. She was smitten.
