Skincare Question

"Rhee" <rhianno...@att.net>
I've heard that drinking at least 8, 8oz glasses of water does wonder
for your skin (not to mention your over–all health).
Can anyone vouch for that? And does it have to be water or does
drinking tea or fruit juice count?

It's a number picked out of a hat not really scientifically
substantiated but water does hydrate your body. Tea without caffeine is
good. Green and white teas are supposed to have all sorts of benefits.
With fruit juice, you need to take a look at the sugar content. The
bottom line is water is one of the best liquids that can do more good
than harm. I do Weight Watchers and we are told that half of the 8
glasses should be water; the other half can be herbal tea or caffeine
free beverages.

there is more updated information.

Thank you so much!

I can say it works for me. I have dry skin, though. It's my dry
sking that causes most of my skin problems. The water really helps,
and so do my fish oil suppliments. Regular exercise improves my
complexion, too. I drink more water during and after, and my skin has
more glow for a day or so.
Caffeine dries out my skin more. I can see the difference after a few
diet cokes. I don't drink fruit juice (because of the calories).
I figure, drinking all the water can't hurt. Give it a try for a
while. If it doesn't work, then don't bother. Every body responds
differently to these kinds of things.
