What I Ordered Today

"ahmward" <nospam.ahmw...@yahoo.com>
I ordered a microplane for my feet. In spite of monthly pedicures and
lots of lotion, the bottoms of my feet become like sandpaper so quickly,

I have somethng like looks like that––it has a coarse file on the other
side. I've never used the bumpy side. I'd be interested in knowing if
you think it's helpful. The soles of my feet are okay, but the rest of
them––oy. Dry and cracked.

After I ordered it I read on another board a post by someone who said
she was disappointed. She has not used foot cream regularly. I think
it's probably a combination of the two that will help the dry cracked
skin especially a rich cream. I used B7BW shea it isn't so tonight and
my Diamacel file. I'll let you know what I think of the microplane.

Let us know how it works. Callouses are a major issue around the Userb3
house, and we're always on the look for new tools.

It's only my feet in this household. My husband's feet are perfect. I
hate him.

Audrey please give us a review of the microplane once you receive it.
No matter how often I get a pedicure, how much lotion I slather on my feet,
or how often I use my Diamancel file (I own the 10,11 & 20) my feet always
seem dry.
If someone says it works then I will buy!

I definitely will review it. Lately I am slathering L'Occitane hand
cream with shea butter on my heels and it is working well.

3 more clearance tees. I love these. The slightly longer length is so
much more flattering on me than the short, wide, boxy shape of many
tees.

This looks so nice on the website. I hope it looks as good in person.

*textbooks for school next year––not relevant enough to list titles
*buffera caps–– THE fashion accessory on the Breast Cancer care boards.
Apparently they wrap around heads really easily, stay put, are warm
in the winter and cool in the summer. You can do turbans or wraps or
kerchiefs with them. Looking forward to playing with this!

IN Style UK magazine is offering a free gft of Benefit's Georgia
palette if you subscribe to In Style magazine (subscriptions are a lot
more expensive over here... I think I'll pay =A326.50 for the year).
I've wanted the palette itself for awhile and the magazine is one I
usually buy anyway, so why not? I also ordered two books off
Amazon––Yoga for Cancer patients and Recipes for Breast Cancer
survivors.. my Mom and sister are coming to England in a couple of
weeks to look after me and I want them prepared with lovely meals!

*Bulga medium drawstring bag in Eggplant/Plum
I am so incredibly happy with my medium safari yellow, and the large sage,
that I had to get this color for fall. It's the perfect shade of purple.
The bag is slouchy and comfortable and holds a lot. I've been on a HUGE bag
splurge this whole year. It's really getting out of control, but it's a
weakness I give in to willingly. :)

A good amount (It's clearance time!) :
1) Two tops, a skirt and a cuff bracelet from Anthropologie (the store
didn't have the items I wanted – web & store prices often vary).
2) A DKNY top, a clutch & Burberry shades from smartbargains.
3) Kate Spade mules from ebay – I was too slow to get the silk sashes
from Jcrew.

From activeendeavors.com (LOVE their service and selection!):
*Kooba Sienna bag in Olive
*Amy Tangerine "Love" thermal in white
I'm especially excited about the Kooba Sienna bag, as this has been
backordered everywhere and hard to find! I originally ordered the Sienna in
the Luggage color from another e–tailer, but the leather was severely
scratched (even though it was brand new in the bag and through no fault of
the e–tailer). Does anyone else have this bag and have they had the same
problem with the leather? I'm planning on protecting it with Apple Garde to
keep it conditioned.
The Olive color will be great for fall and is a nice alternative neutral to
the numerous black and brown bags I already have. :) I'm planning on
carrying the Sienna as well as the Bulga medium bag in plum for the upcoming
season!

Urban Outfitters: 2 belts, 1 brown & 1 ivory. I've been looking for
belts with removeable buckles to change with 1 I already own for a
couple months, but these are the first ones I've found that may work.
