Kissing Jessica Stein

"David Gartner" <derbarb...@gmail.com>
finally got around to seeing this (thanks, Netflix), after hearing many
good things about it here. and whomever mentioned it before – that was
a total AF moment in the back of the cab, talking about layering
lipstick! i loved this movie; i cried my eyes out. who *doesn't* want
to find someone who's as smart as they are, and who gets them?
excepting those of you who are happily married, of course. :)
other movies i've seen lately (last six weeks or so, and these are
movies i'd never seen before):
Saw, 2004 (whole film shot in only 18 days!)
Sex and the City: Season 1: Disc 2, 1998 (can't wait to get more of
these)
Sex and the City: Season 1: Disc 1, 1998
Birth, 2004
Elektra, 2005
Far from Heaven, 2002 (gorgeous sets, and i loved the stars'
wardrobes!)
Chinatown, 1974
Pretty in Pink, 1986
Punch–Drunk Love, 2002 (couldn't wait for it to be over)
Lost in Translation, 2003
Shaun of the Dead, 2004
Good Will Hunting, 1997
Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, 2004 (has Ben Stiller been in any bad
movies?)
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, 2004 (hysterical!)
Will & Grace: Season 1: Disc 3, 1998
Will & Grace: Season 1: Disc 4, 1998
Will & Grace: Season 1: Disc 2, 1998
Will & Grace: Season 1: Disc 1, 1998
Friends: Season 1: Disc 4, 1994
Friends: Season 1: Disc 3, 1994
Friends: Season 1: Disc 2, 1994
Friends: Season 1: Disc 1, 1994
Napoleon Dynamite, 2004 (snoozefest – so boring)
Hotel Rwanda, 2005 (excellent!)
Taking Lives, 2004
Garden State, 2004

What did you think of Birth? I rented it and it was *WAY* different than I'd
expected...

the whole "i guess i'm just not Sean" thing really irritated me. if he
wasn't Sean then how did he know everything about everyone, including
that that lady was the one that told Nicole's character that there was
no Santa Claus? i found it really intriguing all the way up to the
cop–out ending.

What did you think of this? I plan on seeing this. I have been getting
my hair cut like Nicole has it in this movie and I love the way she looks.
Shaun of the Dead, 2004
Highly recommend this – freaking hilarious
Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, 2004 (has Ben Stiller been in any bad
movies?)
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, 2004 (hysterical!)
very funny

I just couldn't get into Shaun of the Dead and I tried at least twice.
I liked Dodgeball and The Legend of Ron Burgundy. Now I'll look for
Kissing Jessica Stein.

Yeah, the ending totally pissed me off, too. I was mad. I hear ya'. I, too,
loved KJStein, though. I think I saw it in the theatre, though. It was a
long time ago. Loved it, though. It was great.
