What Do You "Must Have" In Your Handbag Before You Leave The House...

"Glossifire" <zken...@yahoo.com>
Me, I must have my lip gloss (important)I can not go any where without
my lip gloss. I go through lip gloss like no other, every week in a
half I'm at sephora buying lip gloss or at the m.a.c counter especially
at the m.a.c counter one of the guys there calls me by my name, cause
I'm there so much.
That is my must have and my cell phone of course. What's your must
have.
Z.
"Sher" <sherryjelli...@hotmail.com>
Lipgloss, hand sanitizer, cellphone, sunglasses, L'Occitane hand
lotion, a small waterbottle, car keys, and creditcard.

What's your must have.
A book.

"Smokey" <SmokeyinNewEngl...@yahooey.com>
Money and car keys, more often in a pocket than a handbag. Maybe a lip gloss
of some kind. I love handbags, but if the truth be known, I don't often
carry one.
Smokey
"catmom" <princess.san...@gmail.com>
I simply can't go anywhere without chapstick/gloss, tissues, bottled
water or mints, cellphone/PDA,

My keys and my money stays in my handbags, but to me my lip gloss is

|Same here but mine is a magazine, also the usual – mobile phone now on
a leash, keys, wallet that can be carried as a clutch – it's flat and
has a firm clasp, lip gloss du jour though by the end of the week it's
usually more than one, nail file and if I remember blotting papers.
"Stevie" <privilegemagaz...@charter.net>
nice thread
1) wallet with the requisite cash and cc's
2) cellphone/pda
3) a biz card case
4) epi pen, medication, lip gloss, lip color, mirror and small lip brush in
a moo roo makeup bag
5) a working pen!
usually have more than that though

discontinued)
mobile phone

Book or magazine (I'm a subway traveler!)
Coach "chunky" makeup bag with moisturizer, Kiehl's Hair Cream,
lipstick, lip balm, emery board, eyeliner, eyeshadow
Keys
Phone
Card case
Daybook
Notepad
Pens
Checkbook
One of those tote bags that folds up to slightly larger than a credit
card
My husband's pills
Tissues
Little case with tampons in it (I always have it in my bag, so I don't
forget it when I need it, and in case anyone else might have an
emergency)
This is why I carry an enormous purse, I guess.

"Barbara" <mom_2_...@hotmail.com>
It depends upon where I am going, and how long I will be there. At a
minimum, to attend shul, I carry keys, tissues, lipstick or gloss, and
a tiny sample of powder that mom received eons ago. I almost never use
the gloss or powder, so I suppose I could leave even them behind.
On days other than shabbat/holidays, I'll add a few dollars, a credit
card, health insurance card, credit card and cell phone.
What I LIKE to have with me, and what I DO carry is a totally different
list.

that one is a Clinique Superbalm)
MAC Moisturecover concealer

Mints
Checkbooks
I *think* that's it.

this depending on handbag size) cell phone, pen, small Mead notebook
that I buy at drugstore, lipstick, comb, tissues, matte powder
compact, powdered blush compact, case for the sunglasses, often a pack

I try never to leave the house, even for a five minute walk, without an
id showing current meds and blood type and same for dh. I made up a
few on business cards and put em in a small plastic sleeve which I can
then slip into a pocket, should I be purseless.
Daily fanny pack has only wallet, cards, extra ignition key, house
keys, a pen or two, and one blank check.
"Miss J" <kitten...@gmail.com>
I carry way too much stuff but the "must have " items are:
Wallet
Cell phone
compact
lipgloss

My gym bag contains:

If you need lip gloss for dry lips, maybe your body is telling you
something; maybe you just need to drink water more often.

No! not like that. I don't mean dry lips like cracked or something like
that. I meant to say, I hate when my lip gloss wear off, but I drink
lots of water.

Must have:
– Driver's license
– ATM card
If I have a small purse, then I'll take these out of my wallet and just
carry those. I still get carded when I order wine with dinner, and the
ATM is ever handy.
– at least one tube of lipstick
I'm undressed without lipstick! This is the only makeup I ever carry.
Everything else stays at home. I also have a tube of emergency
chapstick in the car.
– dark sunglasses if it's daytime, even if it's cloudy. I hate sneezing
and squinting. Also have an emergency pair of sunglasses in the car,
just in case I forget.
– one or two kleenexes (for the sneezing)
– cigs, lighter & gum.
– cell phone (but only for work hours. I keep it at home if I'm not on
the clock. It is definetly not on my "must have" list!)
If we're going someplace formal and I have my tiny evening bag, I can
usually rely on DF to stash some things for me in his suit pocket or
his kilt purse. In which case, my bag will only contain ATM card, ID,
and lipstick because that's all that it'll fit.
