Handheld LED devices..Are they any good?

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with a portable handheld
led device. Lately I've been reading about them in a couple of
different magazines including Elle.However they are expensive (at least
to me!) and seem to range anywhere from 100 and change to about 500 or
so.As someone who has rosacea I'm very tempted as led is supposed to be
very helpful but the skeptical part of me also can't help but wonder if
they really work..Any experiences with these good or bad?
