Question about legs and feet

tte <laj...@dela.semaine>
My husband and I were at a dinner party this past weekend and one of the
other men there asked an interesting question about how women dress, and
I couldn't believe the answers.
This is Rochester, NY, and it was pretty cool this weekend, probably 45
degrees or cooler that night. All the men were wearing sportcoats or
sweaters. Most of the women were wearing sweaters or long–sleeve
blouses. But the men all had on long pants, shoes, and socks. Just
about all the women had on short skirts (I was wearing capris). A
couple of the women (me included) were barefoot, the rest were wearing
mules or clogs or sandals. None had socks or hosiery of any kind.
After we'd had quite a bit to drink and were just chatting, one of the
men asked why the men had all their legs and feet covered and the women
didn't. Basically, a few women giggled and said "I dunno."
"Okay," he said looking at me, "you're barefoot. Why?"
I giggled (remember, we'd all been drinking) and answered, truthfully,
that I was just comfortable that way, liked to feel the air between my
toes, that kind of stuff.
So he asked another woman, who was in a short skirt and flip flops, the
same question, and she blushed. Before she could say anything, another
husband said "C'mon, we know, it keeps Jim's [her husband] batteries
charged!" And in an instant, most of the other women were talking about
how their husbands were all horny for legs and feet and whatever chill
they might get by never wearing socks was more than taken care of by the
attention they got.
From there, the conversation turned to sex for a few minutes until
someone was able to get back on less risque ground, and then things
broke up later on.
I was talking this morning to a friend who'd been at the party and she
told me that I seemed shocked during that part of the discussion. "You
mean you've never had a foot rub?" she asked. "Get one and you'll
understand."
I /don't/ understand, sorry. I tend to be barefoot a lot because it's
more comfortable, and I've never had a problem staying warm. I think my
husband is as interested in my feet and legs as he is in my ears – guess
I should ask. But are bare legs and barely–there shoes and no hose
popular for any reason beyond comfort? I'm usually the last person on
the planet to learn anything... could someone clue me in here?

I don't care much for bare anything, but if it suits you then go ahead...
when you're at a commune.

Brain–dead fashionistas, tacky advertisements, obnoxious tv shows, clueless
young people, public ignorance, the decline of civilization, you name it.

OK. Sheer nylons and classic pumps are the greatest things ever invented,
and there's nothing in the world more sexy than the women who wear them.
