Listerine Whitening Rinse

"Syeliab" <syel...@aol.com>
Picked this up at the store this weekend. Supposed to whiten by
pre–rinsing before brushing. Anyone have any success with this? I
have just started yesterday, so can't report anything yet, but will
keep you posted.

I saw it in some of the ads in the Sunday paper. What I'm curious about,
since I'm a latte' enthusiast, is not just the whitening, but the potency of
the mint (or whatever else they put in it???) flavor? In other words, do you
have to give up on some of the breath freshening power in order to get your
teeth really white with this stuff?
Is it as strong and flavorful as regular Listerine? I like the way that the
regular Listerine, when accompanied by a good brushing, *totally* eliminates
the dry "Cotton–Mouth" effect of drinking some really strong espresso
combined with milk.
Thanks.

So this is what fashionable kooks use to cover their mouth stench.

No...I haven't used this, but I do use Crest Vivid White toothpaste,
and I love it...it's great.
See more info here: http://crest.com/products/vivid.jsp
Before that I was doing old fashioned bakingsoda and peroxide remedy
that my grandma used.... and she is 89 years old and still has all her
pearly whites...never a cavity...and never used toothpaste. :)

I like the regular green listerine – Fresh Mint maybe? Whatever the
green one is. But I tried the whitening Listerine in the same flavor
and IMHO it tasted pretty different, and not in a good way. I don't
know about any of the other flavors, but I'll be sticking with the
*regular* green one, and a whitening toothpaste.
Speaking of which, what's everyone's favorite whitening toothpaste
right now? I've been using Rembrant for ages, and I like it, but
wondering if there's anything new and wonderful out there. Preferably
without a gritty afterfeel (I hate that) and a not–too–bitey mint
flavor.
