What are *you* wearing today?

92 degrees After the usual morning walk and breakfast I decided to be a
good kid and work in the yard gathering snails for a quick death in a
bag with snail bait, planting one of the remaining small flower beds and
hoeing the vegetable garden. We are currently picking Swiss chard,
zucchini, butterstick squash, and radishes. I have the last meeting of
the year for my service club at noon, a luncheon at a new Chinese
restaurant and I need to go to the auto club to gather maps etc. for the
next vacation, a trip to North Dakota to visit the mil and DH's family.
Our current quest is to find the closest Wal–Mart since the one in Miles
City MT is 4 hours away from where she lives. After cleaning up for the
luncheon I will wear:
short sleeve silk pale green top Saks Real Clothes gathering stitches at
the shoulder
Dana Buchman white skirt with lines of green, black and tan, ruffled hem
David Yurman donut chain silver and gold necklace and bracelet, gold
watch and pearl studs
Gucci flora handbag
(yes this is the best I can do this season)

and has a built–in scarf that wraps around the neck.

94 degrees This afternoon we are driving to southern California for a
short trip so now I'm trying to finish the packing before I water the
new outdoor plants and then do errands. It will be very warm where we
are going but I'm taking the jacket for indoor air conditioning.
