Great Smelling Products?? Low & High End.

<valmont32...@aol.com>
What are some of the greatest smelling/scented products that you own, naming
both low end and high end? Not including perfumes/etc, but things like
shampoos, hair gel, facial cleansers, etc. What are some products that you
wouldn't assume smell good, but they actually have a great scent or flavor??

I just got 'Biore' cleanser – I thought it would smell *awful* and it
has the best scent ever!

Yeah, the Ultra Moist smells fantastic. You are *so* right. Another hair
conditioner that always smelled so nice was the Graham Webb one that I think
was called Montage, but unfortunately they don't make it any longer.

I love the Mixed Emotion chocolate body products as well as Origins
cocoa therapy.
My favorite low end product is the Suave seasonals butterscotch lotion
that Grace sent me. The scent is not overpowering but very good. The
chocolate product by Suave is good too.
Red flower makes wonderful scented products.

I would have to say the whole Caudalie line has me hooked just because
of the fragrance. I don't know that they do anything that remarkable
to my skin (although they do make it feel so SOFT), but I can't live
without that scent! I use the eye cream, body lotion, foaming face
wash, moisturizer and lifting serum.
On the low end of the spectrum –– Suave Lavender shampoo is my all time
favorite smelling product. I actually use it to wash my handwashables,
and my undies and hose smell divine!! I love opening my lingerie
drawer!

Wow! I could probably go on for ages on this topic since I'm completely
swayed by the scent of a product. Some of my favorites:
*Kerastase shampoo and conditioner (just smells clean!)
*Clairol Herbal Essences shampoo/conditioner
*Suave Juicy Green Apple shampoo/conditioner
*Sothy's Milk Cleanser (wonderful grapefruit/lemony)
*Origins Cocoa Therapy line (like Tootsie Rolls)

Tigi Bed Head Moisture Maniac shampoo smells like peaches and honeydew
melons to me. Very yummy.
A looong time ago I used to use a shampoo called Hennalucent HP3 that
smellled wonderful, just very "clean". I think I used to buy it at
Sally Beauty Supply but last time I was in one of their stores I
didn't see it and the clerk had never heard of it.
Another blast from the past, they still make it though: Suave
Strawberry shampoo. This was one of the must–have products when I was
in high school!
I love the scent of La Source products from Crabtree & Evelyn, another
one of those undefinable sorta–herbal "clean" scents.
Yves Rocher made (makes?) a cocoa shower gel that smelled just like
chocolate milk, really rich. Their grapefruit gel was good too, very
true.
Biore Triple Mint exfoliating face wash is super–minty and very
scrubby. I love mint scents, I wish there were more that smelled like
fresh mint and not "we cooked up this ester in the lab" like so many
mint things do.
Ulta's shea butter in Citrus Dream smells like Creamsicles. The
Vanilla is pretty good, too, even if not completely true it's a really
soothing type of scent.

Other non lotion/gel scented stuff I love that aren't fragrances, lotions or
shower gels (i.e. not stuff I buy for the scents):
*Fresh Sugar face scrub – smells soooo good – lemony!
*June Jacobs Papaya mask – very fruity and delicious!
*BBW Pumpkin mask – be careful not to eat this as it smells exactly like a
pumpkin pie!

Pupa body lotion in white chocolate (smells just like it sounds but
isn't cloying or overly chemical)
Palmolive shower creams/gels – anti stress relief (ylang ylang and
patchouli) and milk and honey
Tarte lipglosses (smell like vanilla cake frosting)
Suave Milk and Honey conditioner (reminds me of oatmeal cookies)
Test driving a chamomile cleansing milk from "Fresh products" ( a
stand alone Lush clone located on the King's Road in London) that has a
pleasant mild vanilla cinnamon scent

Clarins nearly always has wonderful smelling products, but they're more
or less expected to, by now.
Totally Juicy's Limon Facial Scrub
Infusium Leave–in Conditoner (the liquid kind)
Back to Basics Sunflower Leave–in Conditioner
Calgon Ahh Spa Instense Moisture Foot Cream (I expected to hate the
scent but it's really wonderful.)
Alba Botanica Vanilla Mango and Coconut Lime shaving cream –– both
smell much, MUCH better than I would have expected them to.

Vanilla Mango? I thought the Alba Botanica with the mango is called "Honey
Mango"???? In their Alba Botanica Body Wash it is, at least. It does smell
sort of vanilla–ish, though. Hmmm...I haven't purchased the AB shaving cream
in a long while. (I've been using Aveeno s.cream instead...) Maybe the shave
cream is vanilla instead of Honey with the mango? Strange...
LOVE their Honey Mango at any rate!!!!
