Inexpensive Boston hair stylist please!

I am really broke, but I need to get a haircut, because I have some job
interviews coming up. My hair is much too long right now, because I
had a really bad experience a while ago, and i just was too scared to
go to a bad salon.
I'd almost be willing to treat this as a temporary cut. Trim off a bit
until I have a bit more in the bank, because my hair is much too long.
Is there anything decent for around $30. I don't have a car. So that
makes the suburbs tricky.
