like this, please pay
from the reply and
No, sorry I don't think so.
Im reading *here* and I think I contribute in a
positive fashion.
Having to skim the dreck is bad enough, but when
it's also taking up 20+ lines of valuable altfashion
space it becomes a sorce of irritation.
However.
If you would simply ignore my post after the troll
arrives and I've cleaned it up, removed the never
ending subject lines and cross postings and responded
with the one word it would go a long ways in allowing
both of us to be happy.
Thank you.
I am guessing that, as you are new to alt.fashion, you may also be new
to USENET.
This is a crossposted troll. From the antitroll FAQ:
Subject: 4.2 The crosspost Troll
This is perhaps the most effective Troll in that it
produces large numbers of posts with little effort from the
Troll. An inflammatory post is made to a group of Sub
Target newsgroups, say cooking, politics or guns. The
Target Newsgroup is included in the ng list. The innocent
posters to the Sub Target newsgroup continue to discuss
this in the normal way without noticing that the posts are
also going to the Target Newsgroup.

The only reason this stuff is posted is *to generate responses*.
In your short time here, you may have noticed that virtually no one
responds to such posts. Why? Because that encourages the trolls.
Alt.fashion is a special placeit's an alt.* newsgroup which has
managed to survive and not be over run by spammers and trollers. Why?
Because the group acts to report spammers and ignore trollers. The
people who do regularly respond to trollers are generally in a.f only
to stir the pot or otherwise disrupt the group.
In the 910 years I've been reading and participating in this group
we've managed to keep the signal:noise ratio pretty high. Please
respect our hard work in keeping alt.fashion from becoming a trolling
target.
