another meeting and a few errands before work. I have just three more
days of tutoring so I baked the kids a chocolate cake this morning.

FIRST SATURDAY OF JUNE 2005: Up about 7:00. Checked E–mail and such.
Made a fridge assessment, tossed some bread that dated back to
pre–vacation times. Made a refrigerator reload run to Kroger. Called
the Farm; the rain that kept on starting in Colorado and fizzling out
in Kansas when I was on vacation finally made it (Mom reported about
4" last night and this morning). Went over to the Mexican place for
tortilla soup and a nacho/quesadilla combo plate. Now getting my
Saturday afternoon dose of culture on the radio ("Lady MacBeth of the
