I have a great pair of SAS sandals already, so actually no, I was
referring
to a pair of casual (okay, don't think "old lady") type shoes, maybe
tan or
black. The kind with thin laces, but yet not tennis shoes. Am I
being too
confusing here? LOL Kind of like the Easy Spirits I had but I wore
them out
rather quickly, esp for the price of them. I don't want them to look
"beat
up" looking. Doc Martens are out coz I had 2 pairs and they hurt my
feet.
I have really flat feet too and they are pretty wide, but not
extreme. I've
got a pair of Minnetonka Mocs but they just aren't what I was hoping
they
would be, plus a pair of MJ's that just aren't comfortable either. I
want
something with a lot of cushion, yet that won't give me blisters on
the arch
or the heel. Gee, I don't ask much, do I? Especially for around
$100. ;)
lol Thanks for your info though!
I gotcha. I think we're in pursuit of the same footwear. I have been
weaning myself off of high heels and my back has been thanking me. It
all started when my DF challenged me last year: every time I buy a pair
of heels, I should *also* treat myself to a pair of flats. (Can you see
why I'm marrying this guy?? He enables my shopping addiction, LOL!). As
a result, I've expanded my wardrobe of flat shoes and now find I'm
wearing them more often than heels. Yeah!
For my trip this spring I also bought a pair of stonecolored suede
loafers by Aerosoles. These are incredibly comfy with lots of
cushioning. No blisters. And *not* old lady.
We did a ton of walking on the trip, and my three shoes that I brought
included the Cole Haan sandals, the Aerosole loafers, and a pair of
funky pink Nine West sneakers. No blisters and my feet were quite happy
with no complaints!
Even if it's over your budget, still check out the Cole Haan's if you
find a sale. They have styles other than sandals, too.
