T3 hairdryers and flat irons –– are they worth it?

Hi there,
I just got a great cut and my stylist suggested that I purchase the T3
blow dryer and flat iron. They don't sell them at the salon I go to but
they are at the local Sephora. So before I dish out $200 for the dryer
and $160 for the flat iron (that also curls??), I need to ask you all if
it's worth it. I have a stacked bob that can get very stubborn if I
don't smother it with styling paste and use a flat iron of some type.
So please, oh great sages of beauty, is this worthy of my sacrifice?
