Is there any site that tracks sales at stores?
I've never seen one that was worth the hassle involved using it;
there are some message boards which track sales and so on, but I've
found combing through the messages more hassle than just checking
websites or looking at sales flyers. fatwallet.com was a site I
checked a couple of times which had good info, but a lot of traffic to
comb through. That's been a couple of years ago though.
I was at the JC Penny
Home Store and found a cabinet that may suit my storage needs. The
price for the two parts together was more than what they would cost
separately and then when I asked the SA, I was told one price was wrong
I wonder why she didn't offer to fix it for you then! :/
but for the sale that started today they would be 30% with an extra 10%
(couldn't she have said 40%) off.
It's not quite the same, though you'd think it would be at first
glance.
$10 40% off = $6
($10 30% off) 10% off = $6.30
