Help finding a room spray to make my home smell like Aveda products..

"DM" <ilss3...@hotmail.com>
Hi everyone,
Looking for recommendations for a great room spray or even a perfume
that I can spray lightly around my house.
I am looking for a beautiful plant derived aroma, or any kind of fresh
clean scent...I love the smell of Aveda products, mainly the Perfume
Brilliant and the Aveda Humectant Pomade. Does anyone know of a spray
or perfume that smells similiar to these items?
Or a nice scent like a green tea–eucalytus–spearmint– type spray?
Something that smells like a spa basically.
Thanks for your help!!

Why not just use Aveda room fragrances? I'm assuming that they have one
that smells similar to what you want.

Thanks for the suggestion, I've tried contacting Aveda and asked about
certain products that I like the smell of (confixor, humectant pomeade
etc) and they gave me the ingredients but couldn't pinpoint what it was
exactly to make it smell so good.
I've read about the aromatic diffusers on their website etc, but I
don't know what I'm looking for. I just know I love the plant derived
smells of their products. When I am physically able, I will try to get
to an Aveda store or salon, i'm not even sure if they have them
anymore. I haven't seen any. Still looking for suggestions of some
great smelling room sprays or linen sprays.
Thanks for your help and for the link. :)

I love the smell of Aveda rosemary–mint shampoo, but was likewise
unable to find anything from Aveda in a longer–lasting perfume. They
recently introduced body–care products, but the fragrance doesn't last.
When I saw Tisserand essential oils on a shelf at Ulta (Whole Foods has
'em, too) I realized I could make my own darn perfume. I got one tiny
bottle of peppermint and one of rosemary (about 7 bucks each, as I
recall)and apply them 2 drops mint to one rosemary. Not only do I smell
yummy, but my whole bedroom does, too––even hours later. I know
Tisserand has some sort of fragrance–ring deal that is specifically for
scenting the home, but I have never investigated this. There seems to
be plenty of "throw" just from my three–drop routine every morning.

to an Aveda store or salon, i'm not even sure if they have them

They do have stores...I don't know where you are, but there's one here
in Manhattan on Fifth and...19th, I think it is. Doubt if it helps
but...maybe you could contact them and ask about their 'signature
scent' (?).

Actually, they have a "Aveda scent" they can mix for you. I believe it's
#5 and the salesperson who mixed it up for me said it is the same base
fragrance as the majority of their hair products. I think it's got rose,
ylang–yang(?), lavender, and other "stuff".
Hope that helps
