possibly the strangest shoes I've ever seen

Leigh Melton <le...@nbi.com>
http://www.marloestenbhomer.com/paglatest1.html
She describes herself as a "shoe architect" and also does hats, bags
and the like.
They certainly are different and don't look too terribly uncomfortable
but I think it would be hard to walk in them just for the fact that I
would be so *aware* of my shoes, if that makes any sense.

Wouldn't you scoop up litter as you walked along?

I think they would be terribly uncomfortable, given all of the sharp
edges. Moreover, the unnatural angle of the heel would not allow you
to walk heel to toe.

of course, when wearing heels, i've always heard that it's better to
walk toe first. i've heard this from real women, not just drag queens.

I just tried walking across my office. Sorry, no can do. I need to
walk heel–toe. BTW, no need to exclude drag queens. Anyone in heels

Those are the stupidest shoes I've ever seen. I was immediately
reminded of the "I Love Lucy" episode in Paris, where Ricky and Fred
give the girls "designer outfits––the latest––not even out t ill the
fall!" The hats are made out of feed bags and pails, and the rest of
the ensembles were equally funny.
If she wants to sell her shoe architecture she ought to contact The
Little Old Lady. I hear she's shoe hunting.

They look kind of like a bunch of ashtrays that were glued together. There
should be a sticker on the bottom of each one that reminds the buyer to be
careful to *remove* their feet from the shoes before they begin smoking and
depositing of their ashes.
