I purchased this a couple of months ago and ended up giving it new to my mom
(instead of trying it myself which I intended, being the owner of a very
thin upper lip). As I suspected, she is returning it to me after using it a
few times so that I may try it. She says that the best way she can describe
the pain incurred while using it was that it felt like her lips were
severely sunburned and tender. Is this normal? I know that each person's
pain threshold is different and I was certain that there would be some
discomfort with it but I'm not eager to try it if it's that painful. She
also said that it took about a week for the tenderness to go down fully
after stopping it. On the other hand, she said the LipFusion definitely
plumped her lips which are exactly like mine. I know quite a few people
have tried it but didn't remember this discomfort associated with it here.
This also makes me hesitate to use it for maximum effectiveness as an AF'er
suggested right out of the shower. Maybe I should just stick to using it
normally to test the water. Hmmm.
FYI, I saw at Sephora's site that LipFusion just came out with tinted
versions.
Thanks,
Jamie
