OT– very off topic

"rosie read n' post" <readandp...@yahoo.com>
since this newsgroup is predominantly made up of women, (assuming
you do a lot of the housework) i thought i might ask my question
here.
what is your favorite STICK vacuum.
i need one for the tile and wood floors and would love your
recommendations.
thanks,
rosie

Oh wow wish I could help but my husband does all the housework (he's a
saint). We just have a plain old wind tunnel type.

My husband does at least half the housework, but I do do the vacuuming,
and I swear by my Shark EuroPro stick for our hardwood and parquet
floors. It only costs $80 or so, and has great power, a HEPA filter,
an adjustable handle (important for 5'9" me, as most vacuums seem to be
designed for people who are 5'5" or so), etc., etc.
The Oreck stick vacuum is supposed to be great, but I am too cheap to
spring for it.

Maybe it's time for a south of the border Target run.

Going to the States sometime this year is definitely on the 'to–do' list
but I'm not sure when. Still struggling with recovery and well, until
that's looked after they're just no room for fun fun fun...

They say on their Web site they sell them in 22 countries, but Canada
isn't one of them.
Maybe they think Canadians don't vacuum their igloos. <grin/duck>
