Opinions on Barrie Pace?

Any experiences? They have some interesting stuff that would work for
formal use. Prices are a little high to risk bad quality or service.

I bought a few things from them maybe 8 years ago and at the time I was
very satisfied with quality and service. I would say the quality was a
little higher than Talbots (just like the prices). I guess compared to
other things I own I would equate them to Dana Buchman. I don't
remember
anything about service so I guess it was OK – I know I did return some
things and it must have been uneventful. I remember I kept a beautiful
navy blazer that I wore for years that always made me feel like a
million
bucks, also a coat/dress combo in navy and white linen that I wore to
a wedding in L.A. I'm always tempted to buy a pile of stuff when I get
their sale catalogs and I have to remind myself I don't have anywhere
to
wear any of those pretty "dress–up" clothes in my very suburban life.
