Drug Store Face Creams

FeAudrey <feaud...@yah00.forspamhaters.c0m>
What are the experts here recommending?
I'm boomer–aged, and looking for the most bang for the buck.
I'm not expecting anything I put on my skin to make any dramatic
difference of the Harry Potter type, but ... (you guys know what I mean)
My shopping list includes the usual suspects –– daytime moisturizer,
night cream, eye cream.

My boomer vintage normal skin w/ a few fine lines likes RoC retinol
anti–wrinkle treatment. It contains retinol and AHA, and really
smoothes my skin and seems to diminish fine lines. I haven't had to
exfoliate since I started using this. It has a very light texture and
absorbs well. I don't like the smell, but it fades quickly. I've been
just as impressed with this, if not more, as any of the pricier
anti–aging serums I've used.
You've probably heard this ad nauseum, but the biggest bang for the
buck really is daily use of sunscreen and wearing a hat. For years, I
used sunscreen on my face, but neglected my neck, and now I think my
neck looks older than my face.

I used the Roc for 2 tubes, did nothing for me and one time irritated
my skin I got a huge bump on my neck for a time but after that
everything was fine. I am now trying the rejuvinatiung serum and
lotions etc from the Oil of Olay line. So far love it. Not sure how
well I will like it in the long run. Only used it 2 days thus far

Are you talking about the Regenerist? If so, I loved that too but it did
cause me to have some blocked pores (which sounds like what you might have
had on your neck). I switched to the 7 Signs Olay product (can't remember
the exact name) and don't seem to have any problem with that but I may
eventually try the Regenerist again – I liked the feel of it so much! I
sort of felt like Regenerist was a day–to–day product instead of a long term
fixer. I felt like my skin felt wonderfully different while I had it on but
after washing it off, there was no lasting improvement. Now I only used it
for about a month so I may have needed to try it longer.

I am late 30s with combination skin, and lately I'm loving Olay Complete
Defense SPF 30 for Sensitive Skin as a day cream, and Neutrogena
Advanced Solutions Nightly Renewal Cream at night. The former gives me
the sun protection I need here in TX, and the latter really seems to
help firm my skin and even my skintone (it has AHAs, retinol and DMAE).

There's an Olay face cream that I adore and it's from their Sensitive line.
I like their moisturizers, too, but this thicker cream is excellent. I'm not
a "baby boomer", but I'm 33 and my skin definitely has specific needs that
it didn't have at 20, although I still have good skin. I just have to be
particular about it and take care.
