The perfect riding style boots?

magnum...@gmail.com
So, I'm looking for the perfect knee–high equestrian/riding type boots
for casual wear. Pull–on with a low heel. Nice supple leather, not too
stiff, but not slouchy. The closest I've come so far is the Frye campus
boot, but the toe is a little more square than I'm looking for. Any
suggestions? I know the perfect pair lives out there somewhere... maybe
you guys have already found it and would like to brag? :o)

Are you looking for authentic riding boots...if so check out the
Equestrian Sites (dover, stateline) which are good starts. Links are
provided below. One thing when shopping for riding boots to take into
consideration is your calf size. Real riding boots will come in various
calf sizes to help those of us with healthy muscular calves. Depending
on your budget, check out Ariat,
Here are some sites to check out:
http://www.gotallyho.com (Custom Boots)
http://www.doversaddlery.com
http://www.statelinetack.com
http://www.equinet.de/koenigs/index_e.html (The creme de la creme)
This should be enough to get you into serious trouble and to help you
with ideas. Also check out Nordstroms for everyday riding boot styles.
Sometimes they do carry the Ariats.

The Nordstrom tip was really great. But even then, the Frye boots still
look best. Guess I'll have to give in and get a pair. :o)
