Help me find my jeans!

"laurasross" <lauraro...@charter.net>
Hi all,
I know you can help me out with my search for the perfect pair of jeans!
Here's what I'm looking for:
Low rise (1" to 2" below the navel)
Slightly slim through the thigh, not too tight, not relaxed
boot cut or slight flare
dark wash, no distressing, etc
back pockets, I don't like no pocket styles
Medium inseam – 32"
I have a small waist, but I have hips and a butt, but not a jlo butt. I
normally wear a size 3 to 5 in jeans. :–)
I can spend up to $60!
Thanks much,
Laura

The Gap
I have to second this one. I had all but given up on having some
"normal" jeans. I tried and tried to make the "fancy" jeans work for
me...to no avail. Pretty sad when you are more than willing to fork
over $150+ for jeans, but you can't make them work on what you thought
was an average size 8 body. Anyway...I headed back to the Gap after
years of hating their jeans...which seemed to fit those w/o curves.
Their stretch bootcut fit me perfectly. I can get the Long length to
wear with heels and the regular length to wear with flats.

Life is too short to wear cheap shoes...

Gap.
Or, you might also try Target. Try on the jeans to see if you like the
overall style/wash, and if you still think they need some fine–tuning
for a good fit, go online and order custom jeans for your exact
proportions.

Kohl's has a great selection of jeans in that size range...we were just
there picking out some for blondie this week. She picked up a couple of
pair of Levi's boot cut (519s?) for about 25.00 a piece. They come in
Short Regular and Long.

I'm thinking the DKNY "Times Square Flare" style might work for you;
they're very flattering on small–ish frames. They fit a bit snug,
though, so you might have to go up a size. They can be found at
Marshall Field's, Bloomingdale's, and a lot of other department stores,
and I think they're around $50.

Thanks for all the great suggestions!!!
If anyone knows of an online retailer currently selling the DKNY "Time
Square Flare", please let me know... I have searched to no avail.
Thanks again,
Laura

If you're really unfortunate, they go to the black hole that eats
company badges, keys, and socks. <grin/duck>

I agree––try The Gap. Especially the Long and Lean style. Just fitted
enough to look crisp, but not too tight. I'd avoid the Flare, they tend
to shrink up a lot. Good luck!

Usually for me: "the couch."
Also prone to eat DVD boxes and remote controls.
