re: Best Mascara?

Since I'm a complete MAC whore I've been using splashproof in black, but
it's nothing to write home about.
Any recs of good department store mascara? Preferably lengthening, curling,
non–smudge/flake/clump (of course).

Have you ever used Fibre Rich (or something like that) –– it is a MAC
mascara?
My favorite ever mascara is YSL Faux Cils Effet –– it is everything you
describe but it is also voluminizing, so if you don't want that, it won't
work.
Dior DiorShow is a good lengthening one, non–smudge too, not sure about
curling (I have naturally curly lashes) but at least it didn't weight the
curl down like some mascaras do.
