Best Mascara?

"Carly" <cmarqui...@comcast.net>
Since I'm a complete MAC whore I've been using splashproof in black, but
it's nothing to write home about.
Any recs of good department store mascara? Preferably lengthening, curling,
non–smudge/flake/clump (of course).

As a sister MAC whore I always use Mascara X. Nothing spectacular as
far as appearance...no different than any other mascara...but it's way
ahead of the game in wear. It never smudges or clumps. Seriously.
It's a great everyday mascara because it's last the whole day.

I always come back to Lancome Definicils in black (I use the waterproof
version). There is something magical in the Definicils brush that
separates and applies just the right amount of product.

I use Stephane Marais mascara with the comb wand and I always regret it
when i buy something else that gets raves. It is the perfect mascara
for me!

Heartily agree with EMD's review! There simply is no other like Lancome
Definicils.
And I know we've tried them all! :)

I have been using the new Revlon Fabulash...it's excellent. I have
gotten several compliments on my lashes since using this product. I
usually use L'Oreal Voluminous. I refuse to spend on high–end mascara
since they seem to dry out after a couple of months, although I do like
Px False Lashes and Clinique High Impact on occasion.

Barb,
I'm so glad that you posted this review. Voluminous is one of my favourite
mascaras. I was just considering the Fabulash yesterday while at Walgreen's
but restrained myself and didn't buy it. I wanted it though. Although I
was worried about that new funky brush – technically, it looked like it
would work like the package said it would. But I'm needing to use up my
DiorShow mascara before I really buy anything else.
