I agree. I mean, pick and choose your fights. If you don't want to
be archived, put the correct line in the post so you won't be. If
that is the biggest worry someone has in life, they've got it made.
My point is Kathy, that Google (previously DejaNews) isn't the only
archive out there. You put your anti–Google line in the post doesn't
mean it's not picked up elsewhere. Anyone can download and save
indefinitely anything posted on usenet and use it for whatever reasons
they wish (and trust me, they do).
It's like a billboard along the highway. I can take a picture of it and
get a copy made, then send it to whomever I wish. Nothing illegal about
that and really not much different, other than the fact someone actually
paid to have that particular billboard put up...

Debussy Nocturnes & La Mer – I know there's a commercial that uses the
"swell" in Nocturnes, but I can't remember what it is.
The CD–ROM drive in my computer rattles unceasingly when I play some
CDs. It's so aggravating that I've given up trying to listen to some of
my favorites while I'm at the computer. I think it might be that some
CDs are slightly smaller than others, but I'm just making stuff up.
Does anyone have a clue what the problem is?

To return to answering the original post: In almost every town in the Provence
area, you will find a weekly market day. The most amazing finds. Don't be put
off if they are marche de fleurs or food markets. They will always have
everyday things and also lovely linens, pottery in the Provencal colors.
Otherwise, just wander around; you will find great little shoppes. Even in
Aix–de–Provence which is a sophisticated university town, or Nice, you will
find wonderful things and, omigod, gorgeous scarves. I am salivating!! jan

You can always use a sweater or jacket. It's the Alaskan cruises where you
need warm outer
clothing no matter what month of the year you are cruising.

Sephora. Hey, even if you have to stoop to purchasing it through them, with
that Friends and Family code for Sephora provided in another thread, you
could get (at least) 20% off and possibly more. That should make up for the
shipping cost.

It's funny because on Tuesday we were in the low 70s and I had the top

recovery. I've been part of this same discussion several times on
alt.fashion and almost responded earlier today. I am no longer
interested, however, in arguing with others about why we've owned
Suburbans since 1988. My comment though about the car organizing
question is that I try not to put anything visible in my car. It's for
transportation and not a second home :)

You know Charlie, that's an urban myth. I've had a Jack Russell terrier &
my folks a mini–poodle and there weren't anywhere as noisy as our
current aussie shepherd & black lab. When they go nuts (which of course
they do when something important happens, like a cat) they're loud and
simply because of their size, it's overwhelming. Fortunately, they
shut up when told to :–)
But even my wife thinks the same as you yet it's just not true. Next
time you hear a small dog yapping (I'm sure you use that term too) think
about it when you hear a large dog doing the same thing. Then put that
in your living room and well, the difference is audio. No different
than comparing sound systems. The smaller units just don't deliver the
power of the full blown systems...

time you hear a small dog yapping (I'm sure you use that term too) think
about it when you hear a large dog doing the same thing. Then put that
in your living room and well, the difference is audio. No different
than comparing sound systems. The smaller units just don't deliver the
power of the full blown systems...
Well, that's like comparing a siren to a foghorn.
The foghorn has low–end oomph but the siren has a much more
attention–getting dynamic range.
