My Rotating Face: Day One

(Is my subject line reminding you of that weird doll whose face rotated?
Because that's what I'm thinking of.)
Anyway, I decided that I needed to actually USE the vast collections of
makeup colors, textures, and finishes that I've accumulated and stop
putting on the same old stuff every day. So for this week I've decided
that I must use a different product every day. Different foundation,
blush, mascara, shadow, gloss––the works. It's not as though I don't
have enough products to manage it.
Today I'm wearing:
Cle de Peau creme foundation in shade 110 applied with foundation brush
Nars Mata Hari blush applied with Lancome's skunk brush
Too–Faced G. I. Jane shadow duo––the cream with gold shimmer shade, as a
wash
Clinique Muted Brown cake eyeliner on top lashline
black Rimmel Exaggerate mascara on top lashes
OoO Cream Soda lip liner, lined and filled in
Revlon Super Lustrous lipgloss in Shine That Pink
The Cle de Peau is a bitch to blend. I have Simple Solutions copper
serum, Resilience Lift liquid moisturizer, Lancome Sensation Totale
(their version of Idealist) on underneath it, and after blending with
the foundation brush, I *still* had to spray with that Clean and Clear
moisturizing mist and go over my face with my fingers to blend it
completely. It looks good now, but I'm not willing to wear anything that
labor intensive.
Now to see whether my children recognize me when they come home from school.
