Sequin Shrug

"UrMySugarRush858" <UrMySugarRush...@aol.com>
Anyone know where I can get a Sequin Shrug online for under 100
dollars? Every one I find is so expensive! Or if you live in San Diego
know any shops that might have one???

Do you have time to do it on ebay?

Yeah, but they don't have many at all and some of the ones on there are
more like regular vests (just with sequins)

Yeah, but I'm trying to find another place too. Ebay doesn't have many
and the ones that they do have are don't look that great, Some look
more like a normal vest.

Are you talking about something that is basically *all*–sequin? I was
thinking about knitted or crocheted shrugs that have a few sequins or other
sparklies scattered on them. I recently saw a few crocheted shrugs––I think
they were by Free People or Anthropologie––that had subtle sparkly things on
them. They were on ebay.
If you want an all–sequin garment, you might want to look at places that
specialize in dancewear or costumes. But I warn you that this "fabric" can
be awfully uncomfortable.
I have a couple of shrugs and tiny cropped cardigans that are made of a
comination of silk and cashmere. The combination is very thin and
lightweight but warm. They are embellished with a little beading. If you
were looking for something like that, you might even do the
beading/sequining (if that's a word) yourself. I would look at H&M or
Forever 21 for an inexpensive shrug to embellish.
On Look for Less, I believe I saw a fashion maven using a hot glue gun to
glue sequins to a garment. Even a "good" sequined garment will shed sequins
while you're wearing it.
One more thing: If you are searching on ebay, try using the word "sequence"
instead of "sequins". I have seen that misspelling a LOT!
good luck,

hmm I didn't think to misspell it like that, I'll try it. I'm probably
going to hit up some shops today and I'll check out Forever 21 again.
Thanks!
