Looking for a red dress.

Veronica Moonlit <veronicaMoon...@mchsi.com>
I've got a meeting on the 12th of February. For this meeting it's
traditional to wear red, and I don't have any. (twinsets, yes)
I'm looking for soemthing dressy, but not too dressy. Nothing bare,
but not dowdy. Something classic, but not too boring. And something
that comes in my size! (22–24 damn these shoulders about a 16 for
bottoms) And I don't want to pay more than $100 (preferably less) Am I
picky or what?
I've been doing some web searching and here's a few things I've seen
but I haven't really found anything that "speaks to me"

springy is very appealing).

My vote would be for Triple tier dress http://tinyurl.com/3q5tq
Definitely choose a cut that will keep you comfortable throughout the
meeting. A bottom that swings out instead of A–line to take the emphasis off
your shoulders. It will also allow you to move about more naturally. I
remember seeing your page... so I choose the triple tier, it would soften
your shoulder area I think. Matching pearls would be classic in a 7–8mm
size.... even if you feel the dress is too simple, it's the choice of
accessories that will make it dressy.
Just so you know, I personally find the more tailored cuts and high neck
dresses much too confining and unbreathable for me these days. I also have a
lot of trouble finding suitable outfits for summer engagements, since many
classy dresses are not made of cotton. I feel like I'm literally burning
under the synthetics!!
"Miss Livvy" <Xeveryidiwantistak...@yahoo.com>
the sheath dress says the color is "fushia" which is more of a pink–purple,
i think (not sure if you noticed that)
of what you showed, my votes would be
#1 Triple Tier
#2 Knit dress but you said the neckline might be too low.

Of those dresses, I like the triple tier one the best. The A–line sheath
is my (distant) second favorite, but the "rose red" color looks more
pink or peach to me than a true red, if that's important. And I really
like the flutter sleeves on the triple tier dress better, too.

I know, I know, one is supposed to buy the shoes first so you can take
them shopping and have them pick out ensembles.
I'm going to show my sister the suit and ask hwer what she thinks of
it first. It's pink, which is so not me, but it speaks to me kind of
like that coral suit at JC Penney did last year, but I've actually
seen it in person unlike the JC Penney one and still like it.
Goddess knows where I'd wear it, well perhaps to my groups meeting or
shopping at Nordies, or just because. The jacket would look cute with
a cami, fashionista jeans and heels too. But aren't we supposed to
avoid that look? :–)
Hmmm need a cute bag for it, though I think my IM for Tarzhay black
frame bag would work. ah they've got a bag:

Makeup, it takes believing in. Like a magic carpet, it's belief that
makes it fly. Otherwise, it's just a rug.
If you believe in it, makeup has a magic all it's own.
Of course, makeup is only dime–store magic. But it works well enough,
when it's used properly.",
