Thank you the beaded bracelets on elastic tip! Beads would look kinda
dressy :)
I used to wear ponytails a lot, usually with a thin leather ribbon
wrapped around the base turned to buns because although my hair is
thick and a little wavy, it's on the fine side, so it looks thick when
loose or in a loose bun, but when it is pulled in a tight pony tail,
the base of the ponytail doesn't look especially thick...
I knew a woman whose ponytail base was thicker than my two wrists
together so impressive, even though I have very thin wrists :)
How about just a simple pony tail band? That's what I do.
Especially
when wearing a turtleneck. I can't stand my hair down and loose when I
wear a Tneck, because it creates too much static electricity and my
hair goes wild. Scrunchies IMO are only for when I work out (they are
good because I can pull my hair back severely and tightly, without
worrying about a
band breaking the hair). Clippies, like hair sticks, don't work with
hats.
Doesn't a pony tail band pull the hair just as tightly as a scrunchie?
Or maybe it's just my hair when I make a pony tail which is not
tight, it sort of slides down in a very short while.
And don't feel bad about not being in California. The weather
here has been
awful this past month. This is not how So Cal was advertised. I want
my
money back!!!!!!
Was it more awful than snowsnowfreakingcoldsnowcold? <g> I'll
take any rain if the air is reasonably warm.
